In this session, we challenge the traditional, reactive, approach to health and safety and set out a more progressive model built on engagement, information, and action. Too often, safety data drives compliance reporting rather than delivering insight. This sees organisations responding to incidents and focussed on lagging indicators, once harm has already been done.

This presentation explores how successful organisations are moving towards real-time leading indicators, powered by employee engagement and digital tools. The results show through in faster identification of emerging risks, greater productivity, and fewer workplace accidents and injuries.

Regular noise dosimetry is vital in combating noise-induced hearing loss (NIHL) because it measures true, personal exposure throughout a worker’s shift, capturing fluctuations and high-risk tasks that spot checks often miss. This continuous, worker-specific data allows employers to identify hazardous areas, verify the effectiveness of hearing protection.
